Aaron Ullman (Co-founder)
Aaron is an alumni of West Career and Technical Academy who graduated in 2020. He spent much of his high school career in the West Career and Technical Academy Chapter of Future Farmers of America and the West Career and Technical Academy Orchestra Council. In his time at West Tech he was a multiple 1st in State Award winner for the Future Farmers of America (FFA) Career Development Events, a founder of the West Career and Technical Academy Music Foundation, and an International Science and Engineering Fair Finalist. He has a profound interest in the environment and sustainable policy as is a valuable member of both the Columbia University Consilience Journal of Sustainability and Columbia University Engineers Without Borders. Aaron is pursuing a B.A. in Earth Science from Columbia University as a part of the Class of 2024.
Jessica Wu (Co-founder)
Jessica is currently a high school senior attending West Career and Technical Academy (WCTA). In high school, she founded Culture Crave, a student club focused on exposing students to other cultures, was on the state-winning and nationally ranked Palo Verde High School Varsity Tennis team, and served as the President of WCTA's Orchestra Council as well as Executive Director of the WCTA Music Foundation. Jessica is an accomplished violinist that has performed in district and state-wide orchestras and was a member of the 2019 All-National Honor Symphony Orchestra. In addition, her hobby of music composition led to her musical theater songwriting original piece to win Top 40 Honorable Mention in a nation-wide competition. Furthermore, Jessica is a dedicated researcher who has entered international science fairs, which have earned her the titles of GENIUS Olympiad Science Finalist and Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) Finalist. Jessica will be attending Columbia University as a freshman in the fall of 2021 as an Engineering major.
